Think of a situation in which assessing the alignment between IT infrastructure and an organizations mission and vision would be valuable and significantly impact the IT department. How could you utilize the creation of an IT department budget that lists expected monthly costs within your own work environment? Provide an example, either within your work environment or in society at large, of when the creation of a long-range strategic plan focused on innovation could have an impact on the organization.
