The collected data can be grouped and categorized for researchers to create statistical data. For researchers to find solutions to safety issues in the industry, statistical data can be used to determine the causes of accidents, identify current trends, and conduct assessments. Statistical data, however, can be customized to promote specific products or industries. For example, statistical data can be manipulated by aircraft manufacturers to make their products appear to be safer than they are. A business led by money can't help but do this because they don't want its product to be seen as dangerous or bad.
